Again, we are very sorry that we have to make a disappointing announcement.
I think the fans who look forward to Hokkaido performance are disappointed but we are positively considering that we can perform again, so we hope you understand.

And another information.
This is a great announcement.
I think many already know this, but we received the Yoshikawa Eiji Literary Award for Newcomers. Clap clap
I received congratulations from lots of people.
My house smells like flowers. lol
I never been congratulated this much so I’m honestly happy, that I feel that I am able to give back a little to everyone who supported me.

I also had the cracker (party popper) being popped on the stage rehearsal hall, and I cracked the kusudama. lol
Here is the kusudama.

(Shige posted a photo of Alternate with a yellow obi indicating that the book is the recipient of Yoshikawa Eiji Literary Award, beside an opened kusudama laid down - kusudama is a ball-shaped decor for events, with a string that can be pulled so a banner would come out.)

Alternate's obi.
This obi was made earlier by Shinchosa’s editor-in-chief on the day of the selection, hoping to win the award.
In other words, this is a special version, not an obi that is actually made. 
Only 10 books have this, it seems to be an illusion obi. 
I thought about what should we do if I didn’t win the award (I might also think that during Naoki Prize...) but I'm glad that I was able to see that day (of winning).

Nonetheless, Kato Shigeaki hasn't changed at all so please continue to support me.

Following Naoki Prize and Booksellers' Award, I was nominated in Yoshikawa Eiji Literary Award for Newcomers...
My feelings are overwhelmed... 

It may be an unfamiliar literary award for those who are not knowledgeable with novels but... this is really an honorable thing...

I am really beyond thankful...

Today, at 22:50, I'll be appearing in program "Hyada×Taiku no One Room☆Music (NHK E TV)"

This is a show about music production created on PC, so-called DTM.

Some may think, “Why Shige though？”

I’ve been doing it little by little since last year.

By chance, I met the producer of the show SONGS OF TOKYO, whom I knew before, on the site.

Suddenly I was asked "Are you doing DTM?"

While thinking why he knew, I said "yes".
He was surprised, "Eh? Are you doing it?"

From that.

"Then, you'll appear in a show next time"

From that.

I was really casted. lol

I never thought that (creating) DTM can become a work in such way.

However, since I am still a novice, I thought that appearing would be useless but.

I extremely enjoyed.

Because I self-learned, it’s refreshing to be able to talk about it with someone.
I smiled greatly.
