What a FAB!-ulous Day!
May. 29th, 2021 01:30 pm
This may be late, but I finally received my Fab! -Live Speaks- goods, together with this year’s birthday card from JFC, last Monday (05/24)!

I only ordered few items, and asked these to consolidate together with my birthday card from NEWS! OMG, I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!😭💜💛💚
Here is the birthday card!

At the back of the card, there is a QR code wherein link to a video message can be found. And I really found the video so cute! It's like I received a video call from NEWS! 😍
Here are the goods I ordered. I bought three Daiki-centric goodies plus a set of masking tapes.
Arioka Daiki Uchiwa

Arioka Daiki acrylic stand

Arioka Daiki photoset
I wasn’t able to take a photo of all the photos in a set I bought, since I already put these in my oshi book (my ichiban shop photo book that I am creating ), but I've shown these in the unboxing video included in this post.
But here is one of those.

Fab! -Live Speaks- masking tape

I really found the silver one so cute! It is like the silver tape that are being thrown together with confettis at the end of the concert!

Here are the swatches!
I included a swatching portion in my unboxing video. 🤭

But what was surprising is that, I received these extras from her - real birthday gifts!Awww so grateful!!!🤗💕

As usual, I made an unboxing video!
FAN EVENTS ATTENDED 2017-2019
Apr. 25th, 2021 01:54 pm(This time, I'll show my face again here lol.)
AUGUST 2017
Mumon: The Land of Stealth (Shinobi no Kuni) block screening organized by MJPH and JUMP SOS, held at SM Light Mall

My first ever fan event attended, I actually attended all by myself, I didn't interact much with the fellow fans but didn't feel uncomfortable since I got used to watch movies alone.

NOVEMBER 2017
Tegoshi Yuya's 30th Birthday Celebration held at Yuchi's Coffee

This is my first NEWS fan event I attended. This is memorable since I've gotten a chance to interact with fellow fans, some even became my friends in real life. This is also memorable since it was my first time to win a Tegoshi tarpaulin because I was able to imitate Tego's Paku Paku Dance in his Calbee Ebisen CM lol.

APRIL 2018
Boy, Flowers or Dango, a Hana Yori Dango fan gathering, held at Amaia Skies Cubao

I was able to attend this event despite having hoarse voice lol.

Aside from having games related to Hana Yori Dango, we also had screening of first episode of Hana Nochi Hare.

MAY 2018
Yamada Ryosuke's 25th birthday celebration at Yoshinoya in SM Megamall

Ryosuke is actually my birthday twin (I'm a year older though)!

Right after that, I went to Star City together with two fangirls who attended this.
AUGUST 2018
Hey! Say! JUMP's 10th Anniversary "I/O" concert viewing at SM Light Mall

This is also memorable since I met my close fangirl friend - the one whom I mostly talk about in my entries - who was once seated beside me during that time. I remembered at first, we didn't talk that much during the event but after, we were able to interact with one another, to the point that she became my close multifan friend I have. 😌

SEPTEMBER 2018
NEWS' 2017 Tour "Neverland" concert viewing at Asian Social Institute

I remembered that this has been pushed through even though typhoon just ended, yokatta.

After the event, we celebrated Kis-My-Ft2’s Miyata’s and Kitayama’s birthdays.

Itadaki High Jumparty at Goldilocks SM Megamall

This is in celebration of Hey! Say! JUMP's formation anniversary, and the games are inspired by games played in bangumi Itadaki High Jump.
Even though we received the punishment game for losing (we ate a thin slice of fresh bitter melon), what we paid was worth it! The food is good, and there are lots of freebies!

DECEMBER 2018
Tobikko PH Christmas Party at McDonald's El Pueblo

They actually invited a cosplayer who cosplayed Edward Elric! I got shy while in a photo booth with him, as in, I really didn't know what poses I would do lol.

APRIL 2019
JDoEiga Matsuri at VentureSpace PH

I really enjoyed this event much, as we received tons of freebies here! Plus I won West version of NEWS Nippon single via auction!

JUNE 2019
Fly for Dream: An Arashi 5x20 Kick-Off Party, held at SMDC Sun Mall

I went with a friend in the venue early, despite not having enough sleep since I was in a night shift schedule.

SEPTEMBER 2019
Hey! Say! JUMP 2018 Tour "SENSE or LOVE" private concert viewing at Black Maria Cinema

Just a little gathering with few Tobikko friends~

NEWS 2018 Tour "EPCOTIA" and 15th Anniversary "Strawberry" concert viewing at SMDC Jazz Residences.

This is in celebration of 16th formation anniversary of NEWS. In the morning of the same day, I also participated in a running event.

After the conviewing, I had our ramen and gyoza dinner to celebrate Arashi's formation anniversary as well. And we also had a little birthday cake for Kis-My-Ft2’s Kitayama and Miyata.

NOVEMBER 2019
A.RA.SHI @ 20 cupsleeve event at The Lost Bread, SM Megamall (other venue is in Black Scoop Cafe in Festival Mall)

This was my first cupsleeve event attended. Right after my work (I was in day shift already during that time), I immediately went to the venue.

Ohno's 39th and Aiba's 37th mini birthday celebration at McDonald’s SM Megamall

This is a mini gathering with few Arashians~

Jumping to My Heart! 💓
Jun. 28th, 2016 04:43 am
Yes! Hello minna! I am happy to announce that I am now active in my fandoms, more active than last 2015. I had semi-hiatus status last year due to several work-related reasons, that I was really outdated to some fandom stuffs. But now, I am here, fangirling once again, and I admit, I have slight changes in my fandom.
As I have mentioned last time, NEWS now became my ichiban fandom, although I am still sticking with Arashi and Kanjani8. But lately, after I think this over, my heart sparks again, towards my first two fandoms! Yes, I am becoming updated with them again.
This time, I have added another fandom, also from the same agency as my first three fandoms. If you would notice the title of this entry, I bet you have that one group that enters in your minds. And you're right!
I AM STARTING TO LOVE HEY! SAY! JUMP.

Photo edited by Yours truly. All rights reserved to Johnny and Associates.
I was actually already aware of this kouhai group of my first idol groups. That was when I started became an Arashi fan, and when Gokusen 3, wherein Takaki Yuya starred, was aired. Due to being a curious Jpop lover in general during that time, I have heard and saw PVs of their first singles (Ultra Music Power, Dreams Come True, Your Seed, Mayonaka no Shadow Boy, as well as Bouken Rider), as well as the pre-debut Hey! Say! 7's Hey! Say!, BON BON and I wo Kure. But during that time, I only knew Takaki, until I recognized someone from the PVs that has this tiny but high singing voice - it's Chinen Yuri. But I did not get hooked with them right away, since I preferred matured idols. I thought that they're too young, although we're of the same age range - I am also Heisei-born.
The third member who I knew was Yamada Ryosuke, but I forgot exactly when I first saw him - thru Arashi or thru Nishikido Ryo, since I have watched Arashi's TIME concert wherein newly-debuted JUMP performed during the con's MC part, as well as Niini Koto o Wasurenaide wherein Ryo starred with Ryosuke as his otouto. Or I think it was because he is the member who shares the same birthday as me! LOL...
Then I knew Okamoto Keito thru Ate Nei neitaro, since I started became a Kanjani8 fan. Since I was frequently visiting her LJ account during the time I was trying to know Eito, I knew that she is also a JUMP fan as well, with Keito as her bias. I just only lately realized that Keito is fluent in English.
But after that, I knew nobody in JUMP other than the four of them.
First quarter of this year, as I returned from being in semi-hiatus, I noticed that almost all of the posts appearing in my FB newsfeed were JUMP-related, mostly by a fan I adore because of her witty captions on her shared posts. Then the local showbiz online article about a young Filipino actress Thea Tolentino having a crush on Yamada Ryosuke made me feel curious about JUMP. I actually already knew that Thea is a JUMP fan before this article started circulating online, but that article's popularity among fangirls nowadays also contributed with my desire of knowing JUMP more. Since I realized that the members are already becoming handsome and mature, then why not try to know them, ne? I started recognizing other members of JUMP starting with Yabu Kota when he guested in Chikarauta, the show that my NEWS bias nowadays (gomen, Shige-sensei!) Koyama Keiichiro is hosting.
Then during the time I was about to meet up with the seller whom I had pre-ordered NEWS Quartetto goods, I never realized that, that seller is a known JUMP fangirl.
I still remembered how shy I was when I was approaching her, as in, I just went beside her, but I did not asked her immediately if she is the seller. Maybe I was just trying to get some confidence and guts to speak. Too EPIC! ROFLOL!
Anyway, I never realized that she is one of Thea's fandom friends, and a subber. During that time, it was just recently announced that Yamada would be playing the role of Edward Elric in live action adaptation of Full Metal Alchemist to be released in 2017, and in line with that, she said that they will be doing something 'big', which, I am hoping that this will be pushed through. As what I have thought, if Thais can bring Arioka Daiki in their country for their Jseries event, then why not Filipinos can bring Yamada here for the movie promotion?
During our conversation, I have said that I think I am starting to like JUMP, hence, she asked me who is my ichiban. I blurted "Yaotome Hikaru", but I just lately remembered I have posted an Instagram photo after rewatching their performance during Arashi concert, with caption stating that "If I would choose who can be my JUMP ichiban, it would be Yabu Kota, Inoo Kei or Arioka Daiki." A fellow Arashi fan whom I know personally just commented "Hikaru". Look how stupid I am that I considered Hikaru as my ichiban just with that comment! EPIC! xD Gomen nasai, fellow JUMP fan for telling you the wrong ichiban. Although, Hikaru has the most attractive eyes for me, and has this good sense of humor that I like, especially when he dressed up as a priest and as an emotional mom, xDD (But emotional Hika Mama looked good together with mustached Yuto Papa... LOL)
I really find Yabu Kota very handsome, Inoo Kei as very pretty, and Arioka Daiki as... well... having a funny face! xD
But, I ended up falling for that PENGUIN! hahaha xD
He has that pure aura, and I think he is really cute, but most of the time, he looks funny, LoL!
I tried listening to their songs, and oh my, most of their songs, especially the ballad songs, have the feels! Yeah, this year, I am doing my best to know them more, as I really wanted to be one of the TOBIKKOs.
Adding another fandom may mean more goods to be purchased (hence, more flying money... T^T) but it's my happiness!
So, as of 2016, I am an ARASHIST, EIGHTER, PAANA and TOBIKKO! :)

Yukan Club mania! (and some fangirling!)
May. 10th, 2013 12:36 pm
I just finished watching Yukan Club, and I may say that this is one of my favorite Jdoramas I ever watched. Here are the 3 reasons why I love Yukan Club:
It's a mystery series
In selecting series, especially Jdramas, I prefer mystery genres the most. Yukan Club can be considered as mystery series, as the drama involves cases that members of Yukan Club must solve, be it simple or too difficult that the case can't be solved. As what their motto is saying, "Turning impossibilities into possibilities is what Yukan Club is about."
It's a comedy series
I really love comedy, and I bet no one does not love comedy. Yukan Club also has the humor that everyone may love. It does not only contain funny dialogues and actions, but lots of hilarious disguises (and cross-dressing scenes!) as well.

It's a star-studded series
Yukan Club consists of members of Student Union of St. President Gakuen, played by 3 ikemen JE idols (Akanishi Jin, Kanjani8's Yokoyama You and KATTUN's Taguchi Junnosuke)

and 3 gorgeous, foreign-looking joyuus (Kashii Yu, Suzuki Emi and Minami).

Aside from artistes who played main characters, every episode has guest artistes, among them were:

Hey!Say!JUMP's Chinen Yuri

NEWS' Koyama Keiichiro
and believe it or not...

even Taiwanese actor Mike He (who's also one of my favorite Taiwanese actor)
also had an appearance in one of the episode! He even learned to speak Japanese for this series!<333
