I just finished watching this 1999 Japanese drama yesterday, though I started watching it until episode 7 last Sunday. A romance drama starring 26 (or 27) year old-then Matsushima Nanako and teenage Takizawa Hideaki (yeah Tackey-shachou hihi), the drama is somewhat awkward due to its student-teacher relationship theme.
Michi (played by Matsushima Nanako) is a highschool teacher who is uncertain about her love towards her fiancé. One time, she met a bike rider Hikaru (played by Takizawa Hideaki), who happened to be a transfer student in her class. Having common struggle of being pressured by their own families, they started to get closer, to the point that their relationship is viewed as a forbidden love, something against the society's norm.
