Lately, I've been worrying about NEWS, since it was announced that KoyaShige were tested positive for CoViD-19, which resulted to cancellation of their online STORY concerts that would supposedly happen in December 12 and 13. (Look, I even bought both tickets! Johnny's Net Online will refund the payment, but still... 😭).
This year is really a terrible year for them, but it's good to know that fellow Johnny's idols (Aiba Masaki, who is also the MC for FNS, KAT-TUN, King & Prince and SixTONES) gave them support by performing NEWS' weeeek during first day of FNS Music Festival 2020. Supposedly NEWS would participate in collaboration with KAT-TUN, SixTONES and King & Prince (most probably with Kinpuri, singing Cinderella Girl) and would be the key performer for that night to promote their upcoming Triple A-side single, but due to KoyaShige's health condition, NEWS' appearance was cancelled. It was also surprising that Nakamaru told that Massu was drunk when he was contacted regarding that performance, probably Massu really wanted to do it.
I am just touched with that idea and am very thankful to them😭.
Of course we, NEWS fans, are still here to support them. In fact, a hashtag #心は元気に (Can mean, "Keep your heart well") came up in support for them. This is the usual phrase that Koyama is saying at the end of his radio show, Kchan NEWS.
Hoping our feelings will reach them again.
Just to let everyone know, during the time before Tegoshi left NEWS few months ago, NEWS fans did some fan projects for supporting NEWS such as tweeting glowing penlights with hashtag #鮮やかなマーブル描けばいい (Just draw a vivid marble) and Clover Project wherein more than 3000 fans participated in giving encouraging messages, sharing memories with NEWS and singing U R Not Alone, that would be compiled in a video. These efforts were paid off since these have successfully reached NEWS.
CLOVER PROJECT VIDEO:This time, there is a proposal to have another "penlight" project to cheer for NEWS, to be held on the dates of the cancelled STORY concerts.

On the lighter side, short versions of Beautiful, Chincha Umakka and Kanariya MVs have been uploaded already in Official YouTube channel of J Storm! Please check them out as well (and support them by buying the singles!). Johnny's Online Store re-opened a mail-order version of the single, which includes a tote bag and photobook! This is available from December 3 to 6

And they also announced sale for this year's Johnny's Countdown uchiwas even though they announced before that the actual show is cancelled. These are available from December 3 until January 1
