DATES with IDOLS💕
These are actually the English translations of the drabbles I posted in my Wattpad account years ago, and I just would like to post here as well.
So basically, these are just short stories about a fangirl's dates with her idols. Please take note that the events narrated here are just products of my imagination. Actual events, places and person that are exactly the same or are related with the fiction's events, places and original character are purely coincidental.
Just about the original character,
Zai, is actually a Japanese word meaning, "wealth" or "fortune". So as you can see, she's fortunate enough to have dates with idols. 😁
But even though these are dates, these stories are mostly contain humor.
So, here they are!!!
DATE 1: FISH ME!
Characters: Ohno Satoshi x OC; Kato Shigeaki as the mysterious fisherman
At 9am, while Zai was sitting on the bench at a park, a tanned man, wearing a bucket cap and carrying a pail and a fishing rod, came.
“Konnichiwa, Zai-chan!” the tanned man greeted Zai.
“Konnichiwa, Ohno-san!”, Zai greeted back while smiling.
They started walking, and Zai was already expecting that the surroundings would be quiet because she knew that Leader is really a ‘man of few words’.
They reached Ohno's favorite destination.
Ohno let Zai sit on the bench situated on the
riverbank while putting the bait at the end of his fishing rod and started fishing. Later, he caught a medium-sized fish and put that inside the pail.
“Wow, sugoi!” Zai was just surprised when Ohno held her hand, and taught her how to hold and use the fishing rod properly. While Zai is fishing,
someone pulled the nape of Ohno's shirt. A young man in his complete fishing attire pulled Ohno away from the riverbank.
“Hey! That fishing rod is mine! Look at the name carved on the handle. KATO. That's my surname!”, the man said while pointing at the fishing rod.
“Anou… I only found this in a garbage bin. I'm so sorry." Ohno said.
“OHNO-SAN! I think.... I think I caught something... it's so heavy!... Tasukete!”
“Chotto mate! Hey, Kato-kun, let's help her.”
And they helped Zai raise the fishing rod, and got surprised that Zai caught a salmon.
“EH?! Sa-ke? I thought salmon can be caught in an ocean, not in a river?"
Ohno and Zai grilled the salmon caught.
While eating, Kato interrupted them.
“Hey, didn't you know that my fishing rod is lucky, that's why Zai-chan caught a salmon?”
“And then? What do you want to imply?” Ohno asked.
“Can I have some?! Hehehe… “
The three of them happily ate, when Ohno asked the man, “What's your full name? You look like my junior fishing buddy!”
“I am Kato Shi… KATO SHIGEYUKI!” and he continued eating.
Ohno also continued eating but Zai was still wondering why this Kato Shigeyuki looks familiar.

DATE 2: BREAKING NEWS!
Characters: Sakurai Sho x OC; Koyama Keiichiro as field reporter
Zai was walking on the pedestrian lane when she noticed that a man, wearing a cap and a face mask, is following her. She briskly walked since she thought that the man is suspicious, but the man caught her wrist. Zai was about to shout when the man covered her mouth, and he removed his face mask. Zai was surprised to see her idol newscaster.
“Sakurai-san!?”
“Sshh!!! Gomen… Just let me know where we are going.”
Zai knew that Sakurai Sho is an acrophobic, and also hates scary things, so Zai decided to invite Sho in an amusement park, with the aim of letting Sho overcome his fears.
“EH?! Majide?! Demo you know that I am…you know…“
“Sakurai-san, I want you to overcome your fears. And I’m sure that in the end, you'll realize that it is fun!”
Sho was hesitating whether he would go or not, but at the end, he just walked with Zai while still holding her wrist, and he wore his face mask again.
They arrived at the nearest amusement park, and tried different rides.
The first attractions they went to were not that scary, so they went to the park's horror booth.
As they entered the booth, Sho couldn't walk straight, and every time something popped up, he would just shout. He even unintentionally hugged Zai once.
“Ah, gomen…” and they continued walking.
When they got out of the booth, and Sho was still shaking, a man with a microphone appeared with his cameraman. As a known field reporter, the man was interviewing the park's visitors. Sho thought that this reporter is familiar so he tapped that man's shoulder, calling him, “Eh, Kei-kun?! Koyama-kun?”
But the man just laughed a little, saying, “Yeah, I am Kei, but not Koyama. I only look like him, and of course I am more handsome than that single eyelid-man! Anyway, what was the feeling of exploring the booth?
Sho just commented, “It's DARK inside, and of course SCARY!” Zai chuckled.
“That guy really looks like my newscaster kouhai! Anyway, where are we going next?”
Zai whispered something into Sho's ear, and the latter reacted, “EH?!” while looking at the highest roller coaster in that area. Sho was about to refuse but Zai pulled him going to that ride. Upon reaching the place, they sat in the front seats of the roller coaster. Zai was excited, but Sho was feeling exactly the opposite.
When the ride was starting to move, in every loop, Sho couldn't resist shouting.
At the end of the ride, Zai noticed that Sho was sweating while catching his breath, and he couldn't move and get out of his seat.
“Daijoubu desu ka, Sakurai-san? Hontou ni gomen nasai! I regret inviting you to ride here so you would not trembling like that.” Zai kept on bowing her head while saying sorry.
“No… you don't need to feel sorry.”
“So, what's the feeling of riding in this roller coaster?” Kei was there again, asking Sho.
“It's scary… but I had fun… and the roller coaster is high… and CAN YOU STOP ASKING! It's really scary!”
Zai and Kei just laughed.
“But, I really enjoyed this date.”

DATE 3: SIZZLING DATE!
Characters: Ohkura Tadayoshi x OC; gluttonous Masuda Takahisa
One night, Zai was about to buy food in a store where she usually eat, when she noticed that it was crowded. She hustled with the crowd, but upon reaching the store counter, she saw the sign, “Sorry, we’re closed.”
Zai just bowed her head, but when she turned her head, she saw a man sitting on one of the chairs, staring at her for few seconds then turned his head down. Zai approached the man.
“Ohkura-san! I didn't notice at first that you're actually here!”
“Hai… I was about to buy hamburger steak for us, but I saw you hustling, so I just went looking for somewhere to sit, but when I sat, I just noticed that the store was already closed, it is just disappointing!"
They just sighed, until Tacchon suggested “What if we just make our hamburgers at home?" And he held Zai's hand, going home.
When they reached Tacchon's place, Zai waited in the living room while Tacchon was cooking.
While waiting, Zai smelled something burning, so she went in the kitchen to check, and saw that
Tacchon is throwing burnt hamburger.
Tacchon knew that Zai is not expecting him to burn something, so he just said, “Gomen ne? It's my fault. I forgot to check these… Anou, maybe we can have Yakiniku instead.”
“Anou… I thought we can do something out of these meat. What if we just have SISIG?!”
“SISIG? Nanya kore?”
“A sizzling plate delicacy of the Philippines.
I have relatives there, and every time I come to visit them, they are serving sisig. And I watched in a television show that Sakurai Sho already tried it… Anou, can I use the kitchen?”
And Zai started cooking while Tacchon offered to help her.
When done, Tacchon plated sisig on the sizzling plate, and Zai put the fresh egg on top!
“UMAI!” they both uttered.
When they put the plate of sisig on the dining table, they both went to the kitchen to get some plates and utensils, but when they went back in the dining area, they saw that some sisig was already taken. They wondered who took some, until they heard the sound of the plate and utensils under the dining table. Tacchon peeked under the table, and saw NEWS' Masuda Takahisa, happily eating.
“Oi! Come out, Massu-kun!”
“Ow…Owkei!” Massu went out and continued eating.
While eating, Tacchon asked Massu, “Why are you here, and how did you find out that we're cooking? And this is supposed to be my and Zai's date!
“Ah… The aroma of the food carried me here…By the way, KORE WA UMAI!”
“I just don't know if you're a pig or a dog!” Tacchon laughed. Zai laughed as well.
Massu frowned at first, but later he also laughed... at himself!

DATE 4: GOAL!
Characters: Murakami Shingo x OC; Tegoshi Yuya as Hina’s (Murakami Shingo) soccer buddy in cat mascot*
An electronic billboard of a building had flashed a commercial of a particular sports drink being endorsed by the national soccer players.
“Sugoi!”, Zai just uttered when she saw the commercial.
“It is better if it's played rather than watched.“
A man with innocent eyes appeared in front of Zai. He was holding a soccer ball and wearing a blue uniform same with what national soccer players were wearing in the commercial.
“Let’s go!”, and the man put his arm around Zai's shoulders.
They went in a stadium, but just the two of them.
The whole field was just for them, for that moment.
“Zai-chan, please change your clothes to these.” Hina gave her the blue uniform, same with what he's wearing.
When Zai was wearing uniform, Hina was amazed, saying, “That uniform looks good on you, Zai-chan!”
Zai just smiled.
“So, let's start?” and Hina started kicking the ball to the goal.
“Hey, Hina-san, chotto mate!” Zai tried chasing Hina, but when she was already near him, Hina kicked the ball hard and it went to the goal.
“GOOOOOOOOAL!”, Hina shouted.
“Subarashii, Hina-san!”, Zai clapped.
“Try to chase the ball!" Hina kicked the ball again.
Zai tried to take away the ball from Hina, but he was moving too fast so she couldn't reach the ball.
“Hina-san moves really quick! I just stay here and watch him.” Zai stopped for a while.
When Hina approached the goal, a cat mascot appeared near the goal suddenly. Hina was surprised and tripped... Being surprised, he went towards the place where the cat mascot was and smacked that mascot's head!
“You NEKO! What are you doing here?!” He asked the mascot while still smacking the head… Poor mascot.
Zai was also surprised, but since she loves mascots, she went to approach it.
The cat mascot suddenly talked, “Please stop hitting me, Hina-kun! This is just me!” NEKO mascot removed its mascot head.
“Tegoshi-kun? How did you find us?” Hina was still surprised especially that he met his kouhai soccer buddy.
“I followed you… I just want to give these to you and Zai-chan.” Tego was holding bottles of sports drink. “I would also like to play soccer with you. Can I join?”
Zai just nodded.
“Since she nodded, then OK...”
“Yossha!”
And they played soccer together.
*I relate it to Tegomass’ single, Neko Chudoku, wherein Tego and Massu dressed as a cat. ^_^

I am not sure if someone still reads entries here, but if ever someone reads this, I hope this someone would enjoy it (while being cringed at my humor lol😂).
But that will not stop me from writing. 😌
